This is my absolute favorite hot sauce / spicy product. It's spicy without being uncomfortable and gives such a delicious taste to anything. I really don't want to eat eggs, grain bowls, veggies without it. Also, the service on this site is great-- there was a mistake with my order, I reached out, and I heard back quickly and from a real person (Auria herself!). So happy to support this small business that makes my food taste AMAZING.

Oh My God! A friend of mine gave me a bottle of this Auria Sauce! This hot chili "Sambal". I could just eat this stuff with a spoon! It was a little too hot for me to eat strait up, and initially I did not know what to put it on, (besides my spoon). So I mixed it with mayonnaise, which took enough of the heat out that now I am slathering it on EVERYTHING. Sandwiches, tacos, my omelette. I dolloped it on top of my bean soup and chili! and last night I put it on NY Pizza! OMG, Everything I put this stuff on is so ridiculously delicious, I end up eating way too many servings. And I'm NOT Sorry!! :0) DUUUDE, Sambal is the New Chocolate!

The BEST sambal I've ever had! I am never without a jar or two of this magical stuff. I put it on chicken, fish, meat, eggs, and vegetables. I stir it into mayo, sour cream, or softened butter and slather it on biscuits, and I add it to soups, stews and curries. Seriously, get this stuff.

i purchased a jar of Auria?s Hot Chili Sambal and was bowled over by its fabulous flavor. I mix it into eggs, stir it into rice, and use it as a table condiment whenever I would reach for hot sauce or chili oil. It is incredibly good. I recently purchased four more bottles because I use it often.

I was born in KL & I know what good Nasi Lamak tastes like and ... you knock it COMPLETELY out of the park. This sambal is THE closest thing to the hawker vendor version in Petaling Jaya I remember so fondly as a young boy ... THANK YOU for being so AWESOME and bringing this to my home.

This sambal is very spicy but so delicious, the shrimp paste gives it depth and it has stayed fresh for a very long time. I use it to make a spicy mayo and whenever I am making stir fried veggies etc

The reason I say that it's not hot sauce, it is flavor! It has heat, yes. But when you use this magical concoction, you're adding serious personality to your dish, be it scrambled eggs or an hours cooked braise or whatever. I'm not eating terribly spicy food these days, so a jar of this stuff lasts a good long time. And, I use it on in kinds of things to add FLAVOR!!! I was an early adopter and Aurias Sambal is a staple in my pantry. Period.

A good friend of mine gave me Auria Hot Chilli Sambal for Christmas gift! And i thought it was just a regular sambal sauce. oh boy i was wrong! Auria Hot Chilli Sambal is out of this world. It elevates everything i ate! It goes well with a lot of things, fried rice, dry noodle, noodle soup, chicken, etc. I was so in love i purchased more and for my other friends. thank you Auria !

I have a collection of sambals/hot sauces in my fridge, each for different dishes and moods! My go-to brands are usually Indonesian (ABC and Kokita) because I grew up with that flavor profile but I'll try anything new that looks appetizing and/or was recommended by friends. I found Auria's Instagram page by chance and decided to sample both sambals. The Hot Chili Sambal is no joke! It really lives up to its name! I've found that stirring the sambal a little before scooping out of the jar mixes and brings out the flavors even more. There's a hint of sweetness and perfect umami-ness and the texture is a little more chunky than most blended sambals. I like to scoop up a teaspoon (the kind used for stirring tea, not the measuring spoon) and eat it with rice and simple stir-fry or fried egg and some kecap manis. Simple meals that cure homesickness! My lips and tongue burn every time but holy cow is it delicious! I'd like to experiment and use it as a base for curries but honestly I don't want to use it all up too quickly! I haven't actually eaten the Lime one but when I do I will definitely leave a review.

My son-in-law likes to point me down different food roads, and I like to follow. He told me about Auria's products and I ordered some of the hot chili sambal and the lime leaf sambal. Both are delicious! The hot chili is definitely hot, but you can easily learn your limits, and it is so flavorful that it very positively enhances anything you use it on. The lime leaf is sublime, a beautiful flavor profile. Last night we made two recipes that came with our order, a lime leaf/coconut milk salmon, and a cold spicy noodle with a sauce of hot chili sambal and peanut butter. What a meal! Thank you Auria!

You know that jar with the green lid? I've eaten lots of those jars over the years. I thought I knew sambal. But the fact is, I knew nothing. Don't get me wrong; that's tasty stuff. But compared with this product, it's in the minor league. Welcome to the majors. Auria's sambal is thick, rich, and intensely savory. It has a beautiful deep chili flavor, with medium heat. But behind that chili flavor is the funk brought by the inclusion of fermented shrimp. That funk, for this sauce, is everything. Without it, it would be just a thicker and somewhat deeper version of the green jar stuff. But with it, you enter into a totally different and altogether more beautiful world. The only minor downside of this stuff? It's got some oil in it, and so it carries a heavier weight of calories than its supermarket competitor. But if, like me, you're already spooning chili crisp onto most flat-ish surfaces, a bit more oil is of no real concern. This stuff is delicious and highly, highly recommended.

The only sambal I generally eat is fresh from the person who prepared it - usually in Malaysia. After discovering sambal in a jar in the US, I have had more of my share of emotional roller coasters with that ... pure excitement and glee when finding sambal in a jar, to horrible disappointment with the taste, heat level and general appearance. To be blunt- all my sambal experiences here have been - meh. That is until I discovered Auria?s! A high school friend (from KL) posted a story on Instagram with a thumbs up and I HAD to buy it immediately. Needless to say, I?ve purchased 4 jars of sambal and 2 jars of kaya since Xmas! It?s exactly how it should taste and perfect heat level. Not surprisingly, I literally put it on EVERY thing. Eggs, bagels, vegetables, with curry, without curry. My poor hot sauce takes a back seat to Auria?s. And if I could carry it in my purse like I do with my hot sauce, I would. Get it. You won?t be disappointed. And if you are, find a foodie friend and give it to them! Love, love, love it!

We put this sambal on everything! It is perfect balance between heat and umami and my partner and I can't get enough! It's the secret ingredient in so many of our dishes from a spicy aioli for masubi's to the perfect surprise kick in bruschetta! Honestly, I can't recommend this product, or really any of these products, enough!

Wow! This is the best sambal I've ever had! Plenty of heat, but not overwhelming. And the flavor! The shrimp adds a wonderful depth to it. I need to make some Laksa now and really give this a try! (Though tomorrow it's going on eggs for breakfast!) The only downside is that I will probably need another jar very soon!

Oy vey, this is the most deeply rich and delicious starter / condiment , all round meal stopping secret ingredient that ppl will continuously ask abt everytime you share a meal you make with the sambal. Auria does all the hard work for you. Essentially , it's malaysia's mole sauce. You will not regret purchasing anything from this kitchen.

As a Malaysian, sambal is life, it's my religion. I love it and I live for it. I came across Auria's Malaysian Kitchen and decided to purchase some sambal. As soon as it arrived, I opened the jar and took a whiff of it and just knew that this sambal was going to be amazing. My husband made some stir fried noodles a few nights ago and added some sambal to it. It was soooooo good! I had to stop myself from devouring the entire jar. I could probably eat that entire jar with rice and it would still be amazing. We will definitely be buying more sambal once we run out. If you're looking for sambal that's not only just spicy but extremely flavorful, I couldn't recommend this enough! Please try it! You won't regret it! :)

Heart stopping! I cannot express how truly delicious this sambal is - just opening the jar transports you back to Malaysia. It cured my cooking fatigue after this long year stuck at home. Even something as simple as rice and eggs is made into a masterpiece with this sambal. The skill and love put into Auria's recipes is evident. This is 1000% worth having in the kitchen at all times!!

WOW! I love this sambal SO MUCH - it tastes just like home. I got it on a whim from FoodKick and I cannot express how happy I am and how much it is worth it !! Very spicy which I LOVE - a lot of hot sauces are either not spicy enough for my palate or they are trying to rip my taste buds off. This is very spicy and full of flavor, but luckily my taste buds are intact. I love putting it on everything! Funky fermented shrimp flavor is also amazing. I immediately came to this site to purchase everything Auria makes, as well as some jars for a friend. I can't wait for the package to come!

You should eat AMK Hot Chili Sambal everyday, and feel the warm Malaysian love shower down upon on you and your family. Sambal is love. Clearly you need more love in your life, fascist. Do it. If you refuse, we can fight, Brazilian Jujitsu style in the streets of Brooklyn, where AMK Sambal is crafted. I eat AMK Sambal all the time, so you'd lose the fight.
